Charged? privacy policy

This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in Charged? for iOS or macOS.

Information we collect

The app itself

The app itself stores no information, nor is any information about your devices sent to any servers I have access to. All battery related information is stored in your own iCloud drive.

IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device. Non-user related crash logs, which may be used to diagnose problems and improve the SDK. Diagnostic information may also be used for advertising and analytics purposes. User-associated performance data such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage, which may be used to evaluate user behavior, understand the effectiveness of existing product features, and plan new features. Performance data may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads. A Device ID such as the device’s advertising identifier or other app-bounded device identifiers, which may be used for the purpose of third-party advertising and analytics. Advertising data, such as advertisements the user has seen, may be used to power analytics and advertising features. Other user product interactions like app launch taps, and interaction information, like video views, may be used to improve advertising performance.

Analytics

The apps collects aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the apps.

Information usage

I use the information to improve the app.

I do not share personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish Charged?’s functionality.

I may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise my legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of my policies; or to protect my rights and property.

In the future, I may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, analytics information may be among the transferred assets.

I comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. I therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

Information for European Union Customers

By using Charged?, you authorize me to collect, use, and store anonymous analytics data outside of the European Union.

International Transfers of Information

Information may be processed, stored, and used outside of the country in which you are located. Data privacy laws vary across jurisdictions, and different laws may be applicable to your data depending on where it is processed, stored, or used.
